"Code Blue, Room 5411"

A loud alarm went off at 11pm last night on the unit.  "Code Blue, Room 5411, Code Blue, Room 5411" was heard over the intercom.  Doctors, Nurses, CNAs, and other frantic health professionals rushed into the room....our room.
....to find a fully alert patient and his laughing sister.  :) Maintenance was in here last night, attempting to fix a light...and accidentally set off the code in Jethenro's room.
After making sure Jethenro was okay, the Code Blue was cancelled and the intercom said "Code blue all clear, code blue all clear" and the staff went about their activities. It gave everyone a good laugh :)

Hospital~Admitted~

On Thursday morning I received a phone call from the ONC team with the information that the chemo meds were at the hospital for Jethenro, and they would accommodate our schedule.  We chose to come in on Sunday morning~This gave Jethenro the opportunity to attend his sisters ceremony (see previous post) and spend Sabbath at home. Nitha and Roshmoti are able to spend more time as a family now that school is out for the holidays.
Jethenro even has the same room he left last week.

Special Time

We were  able to attend Nithas' pinning/graduation as a family.  Because of the previous chemo issue, and early dismissal from the hospital Jethenro was able to attend.  As I looked around the auditorium I realized that this is the first time he has been surrounded by such a crowd in 6 monthes. I am glad his defenses were up, and he was able to enjoy it.
