A Very Special Day Indeed

Psst, hey you, yeaah, you! Come here! I have a secret to tell you :) Today marks a very special day - Jethenro's17th birthday!! If you are so inclined, post a special birthday message here on the blog, on his facebook page, or send an email to halderfamily5@gmail.com.

Half the family is up already getting ready for our trek to the hospital to start another round of chemo. Jettie will be in the hospital for a longer period of time (2-3 days max hopefully) because we have to wait for his body to clear itself. Please pray that he has no adverse side effects and that he clears quickly.

Blessings to you all!

  1. Happy 17th, Jethenro!

Although my 17 was two decades ago, I still remember it as an interesting milestone along the journey to 'becoming me'.... and all my experiences (pleasant or unpleasant) contributed to that - still future - end goal of becoming the best 'me' that I could possibly be, in Christ.

As today draws to a close and you embark on your 18th year of life, I pray that - in Christ - it will be an abundant one. When you laugh, LAUGH your hardest; LOVE... holding nothing back; PRAY like your very breath depends on it; and LIVE every day to the full... because 100% knows no regret.

The blessing of years is a grace-filled gift from above, so I pray that Jehovah God will continue to bless you as you journey through this new season of life.

    Always praying,
    Ruth

  3. Happy Birthday, Jethenro!
May you never forget how Jesus has carried you. May you always share your testimony and encourage others in their walk with God.
May your walk with your Saviour always be so close that the two of you are eternally entwined.

Always remember--God knows the plans He has for you. Plans for good, and not evil. Plans for hope and a future.
